This is a win/win combination eventually, but you won’t see any benefit from it until you have it.įor Attributes you’re going to want to increase Coordination, Charisma and Awareness. I like to alternate between placing 2 points into each Attribute, cycling through all three of these until they are all maxed out. Once these are maxed you want to boost Intelligence for higher Crit Chance and Crit Damage. The Quirk I use for this Build is Two-Pump Chump. The reason for that is that you need those extra AP early on in combat to cast Rally and to be able to still get a kill or two, in order to buff your teammates. You should have this done by the end of the second round, at which point you don’t need the extra AP any more. Serial Killer actually nerfs your AP every round, assuming you’ll get a kill to make up for it. But early on in the game you likely won’t benefit from it much, and later in the game you really won’t need it.įor Skills you want Big Guns, Explosives and Leadership. You want to prioritize Big Guns because you will desperately need the extra Hit Chance it provides, but you can bring these all up roughly at the same time. You should max them all out eventually by the end of the game, or you can add other Skills if you’d like more utility. The Weapon setup I like to use for this Build is a Heavy Machine Gun and a Rocket Launcher. However, with this Build I use the specific Heavy Machine Gun the Nidhogg, which can be found in Aspen. The reason for this Machine Gun is that it deals Explosion Damage, which is boosted by Explosives, just like Rocket Launchers. You’ll want to be sure to mod this to have increased Hit Chance and Range for best results. You can use any Rocket Launcher you want, but make sure to mod it with increased Critical Chance and Critical Damage. Once you gain High Impact, you’ll automatically Crit when launching a Rocket directly into something, so you want a higher multiplier. You can also get another chest piece from Yuma County, Scar collector, hack the terminal to open the door at the beginning of the map.You can’t have enough Hit Chance with this Build, so take it everywhere you can get it.Īnd you don’t need to worry about Hit Chance with Rocket Launchers, since they can’t miss, so increasing the likelihood that you Crit things you don’t directly hit will be valuable.Īrmor-wise it doesn’t really matter what you use, but use the highest protection you can and use a Helmet like the Trooper Helmet to further boost Hit Chance. Take both to the Patriarch and he will give you the chest piece. The skinny robot figurine is in Vic's old room at the Broadmoor palace, inside the lvl 8 Toaster. The body requires you to complete Aspen and get the fat robot figurine from Vic's bathroom. Leg and head are easy pickups, just Google. Much less armor than Verchitin, but you still get more than Power Armor (but less than Satoshi's Nuclear set). You will get a prompt after you collect the last part at Knox Bison Farm.Įxoskeleton: 53 armor, +50% melee damage. You get the full set at the Toaster Repair Museum, a location you unlock after assembling the golden toaster. Verchitin: 71 armor for whole set, highest armor protection in the game. The Commandant's Helmet is the best headpiece though with +15% crit and 8 armor. Spectrum set: highest armor protection available for non-strength characters. It's not a unique, so may be available in the open world.Ĭhainsword (WH40K reference): 3 AP, 100% chance to bleedĪvailable at Ranger HQ after Aspen and a number of other random spawns. Man Cannon: fires spikes, 3AP, 8 Small armsĪvailable at Ranger HQ after Aspen. It's a unique, it can only be found there. The Retirer (Bladerunner reference): 3 AP, nothing special, just huge energy damage. I believe they can be found elsewhere in randomized spawns. I got mine from a weapons crate at the Toaster Repair Museum. Most multi-target damage potential weapon in the game. Jackhammer: 3 round burst, HUGE damage if you get the two big shotgun perks and some good mods. After Aspen, Ranger HQ will also sell them. If you side with the Machine Commune, the HOGS robot will sell one. You get one free from the Gipper armorer if you sweet talk her. This leads me to think that it's also possible to get one from a random open world merchant. It is also possible to find one in a random chest. You MUST side with the Marshalls, they setup the armory at your base, and they will sell you the Ray Tracer before Yuma. Ray Tracer: 7AP, 1 shot magazine, weapon hits everything in a narrow cone, like a shotgun/flamethrower, think Mega Scope. Some open world random encounter merchants will also sell it. This guide is to help you determine when to use your top tier mods in case you were saving them for the best in class.Īvailable after Aspen at Ranger HQ merchant. This is not a complete list, but I'm confident that the weapon/armor for each categories is the best.
